Inspired by the encouraging response for our albums on Shanti Mantra and Stotras namely Shree Stotra, Shiv Stotra and Mangal Stotra, we have created this album containing four powerful Mantras. Recited under the supervision of noted Sanskrit scholar Pandit Brahmshankar Vyas, these Mantras have been given a very soft musical ambience. Shounak Abhisheki, son and disciple of the legendary vocalist Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki, recites the first three. Already considered a maestro in the making, Shounak is among the most sought after young vocalists. His album Tulsi Ke Ram is considered to be one of the most appealing devotional albums. His knowledge of Sanskrit helps in rendering the Shlokas with precision, an absolute must for correct pronunciation of the mantras. Gargee Siddhanta Dutta, one of the senior disciples of Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj, recites the last shloka. Gargee has carved a niche for herself with her live performances and some popular fusion albums of World Music like AstraI Journey with international artists. Rupak Kulkarni on Flute, Ravindra Chari on Sitar and Zakir on Keyboards accompany the vocalists.
