On this Cd, she renders raga Bilaskhani Todi in the classical khyal tradition, followed by a tappa composition in raga Mishra Bhairavi. She is accompanied by Sultan Khan on Sarangi and Anindo Chatterjee on Tabla, both top-ranking artists with a well-established international career. The term KHYAL has been translated variously as thought, imagination, contemplation or fantasy.
